Last updated: 18/10/2026
1. Who we are, and scope of application
The website waistlog.com (the “Service”) is operated by Malika Barré, MB infosystems, Rue de l'Euchette 30, 2605 Sonceboz-Sombeval, Switzerland (the “Operator”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
WaistLog is a personal tracking tool (weight, measurements, food, calories). It is provided for information and convenience purposes, with no guarantee of results.
3. Health disclaimer
WaistLog does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or personalized medical or dietary advice. Calculations, goals, “Health” sheets and assistant responses are general reference points. Consult a doctor or dietitian before any significant change in diet or activity, especially in case of illness, pregnancy, treatment or eating disorder. You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make.
4. Account
You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential and notify us in case of unauthorized use of your account. The Service is intended for persons aged at least 16. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.
5. Acceptable use
It is prohibited to:
- disrupt or overload the Service (for example through attacks, abusive automated requests or intrusion attempts);
- access other users’ data or circumvent security measures;
- use the Service illegally or to harm third parties;
- attempt to divert the AI assistant from its intended use (nutrition and tracking).
We may suspend or delete an account in case of abuse.
6. Artificial intelligence (Companeo)
Companeo relies on artificial intelligence services provided by third parties, which are not under our control. We strive to offer the best possible quality (response framing, checks, continuous improvement), but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or availability of the responses. Responses may be erroneous, incomplete or unavailable.
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not responsible for errors, malfunctions, interruptions or changes in the artificial intelligence, nor for decisions made based on its responses. Always verify important information if necessary.
7. Subscriptions, packs and payments
The free version displays advertisements. The Premium subscription and AI question packs are paid; prices and conditions are indicated before purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your card data. Purchased AI credits are valid for 12 months. Unless required by law, amounts paid for a period or pack already used are not refunded.
8. Availability and security
We do our best to keep the Service available and secure, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantee of uninterrupted access. Interruptions may occur (maintenance, outages, failure of a hosting or network provider, denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, malware, force majeure). We are not responsible for resulting damages.
We recommend that you regularly export your data. We cannot guarantee the absence of data loss.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by Swiss law, the Operator’s liability is excluded for indirect damages, data losses, loss of profits and damages related to the use of the Service or its unavailability, as well as for third-party content and services (including artificial intelligence and external links). This exclusion does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, nor where the law imposes liability.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, its code, design and content are protected. You retain your rights to the data you enter; you authorize us to process them in order to provide the Service.
11. Modifications
We may modify the Service and these terms. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with its update date. By continuing to use the Service after a modification, you accept it.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law is applicable, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The place of jurisdiction is the Operator’s registered office, subject to mandatory jurisdictions provided by law in favor of consumers.
